So, as long as mother nature co-operates, and it’s looking like she is ( we are getting the perfect amount of pre-ride rain as I type this!) we will be open 10-5 for Saturday, Sunday and Monday for this upcoming Labour day weekend!
Friday will be the normal 2-8 hours…come check it out, we may even have a few track surprises/updates if Mother Nature is willing!

In the last few weeks we have added over 100 loads of dirt to the main track…removed some trees and just made it much more open!
The mini-track for the kids got a complete rebuild and we made some of the jumps bigger on the AX track…
Our hours have been revised too…Thursday’s are running 2-8, Fridays are 2-8 for the month of August and then in September we will be using fridays for track maitenace, Saturdays and Sundays are still 10-5 and Mondays are 2-8 for August and then back to 10-5 in Spetember…

Ok, so we woke up this am to not only some mud ( as we expected) but we have a couple of lakes that make the track a better jetski course than a MX track!
We are off to drain the lakes, but riding today will be impossible…with the winds we can get in the afternoon, you never know what tommorrow will bring, we have had days of mud in the am and perfect traction conditions 4 hours later,

So we were ab le to do some upgrading this week, we made the main track wider, added a few dozen truckloads of dirt to some corners and got the AX track so you can ride it…
We did a whole lot of small upgrades that made for one BIG improvenet over what last week gave us, Mother Nature helped us out too with some of her watering magic!

I know my mom always loved to see my smile covered in dirt…my bike needing a wash and more dirty laundry for the washing machine…doesn’t yours :-}
It’s a beautiful friday morning here in the Valley, track is dry, sun is shining and the views of the Rocky Mountains are spectacular…

…is true, so now that April is over lets hope the showers are too!
The grass has started growing, the leaves are showing and it’s almost time to open the upper trails…almost!
We went up this week to try and break through over the mountain, but it’s not quite time for all the snow to be gone…we need a another week or so before we can start cutting and re-opening the trail…

While we were closed on Saturday, SUnday morning we opend to some sloppy conditions which we quickly remedied with the help of our trusty John Deere and by 1pm the dirt was as good as I have ever seen it!
We had great dirt all day, did a grooming session last night so on this fine Monday morning the track is waiting to be abused a little more…it’s almost like the dirt is asking to be ridden on!
Track is open, dirt is perfect and tacky and who knows…its so good you may not even have to pressure wash your bike afterwards!

We are…if Mother Nature helps us out like she is with her watering system, we are going to have another weekend of perfect dirt conditions!
Lat weekend we had about 45 minutes of rain late saturday afternoon ( yes, I know it rained hard closer to the city!) that made the track perfect sunday…like always, we keep making improvements so every week so the track just gets better for the weekend…
We broke ground on the AX track, and if we get lucky it may be ready to ride this weekend…we will update photo’s on our Facebook page as things progress!
Next week is time to start cutting open some overgrown trails, the snow is melting and it’s time to go up and over the mountain!

We have spent some time this week doing some improvements to the track layout, changing some jump faces, widening some corners, adding some dirt…it’s amazing what you can do when it’s not raining!
The AX track has had a ground breaking and while it won’t be open this weekend, by next weekend we should be able to have it going…just need a little time in the sun :-}
